Accessibility and Inclusion

Con of Thrones is accessible to all attendees! When registering, you will be asked if you have a disability that will impact your time at the event, and if so, you will be prompted to tell us about what we can do to make your experience better. We strongly encourage you to use this form so that we can customize your experience. This includes, but is not limited to, attendees who are hard of hearing, low-vision, have mobility impairments, or need a quiet place to rest during the convention.

Medical Aide

If you need individualized assistance, you may request a medical aide badge for a family member or friend by emailing Medical aide badges offer attendance to conference programming while in the service of an individual with a disability.

American Sign Language

We will have American Sign Language interpreters on-site and available to assist you. If you have requests for programming to be interpreted, please email as soon as possible or stop by the Customer Service Desk on-site so that we can arrange to have our interpreters available at that panel. We will be able to accommodate any requests placed up until 3 weeks prior to the event. Requests placed after that time will be accommodated if possible.

Quiet Space

If you sometimes need a private space to rest, away from the hustle and bustle of the conference, be it for emotional respite or a private place to breastfeed, please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to assist you.

Please note that some programming may involve flashing lights or smoke.

Mobility Concerns

There will be wheelchair-accessible seating available in the Great Hall. Please feel free to ask a volunteer to help you find this section of seats when entering the space.

If you have other mobility concerns, please let us know as soon as possible. You will be able to pick up a bracelet from the Customer Service Desk which will allow you a little extra time to find your seat in certain programs.

Service Animals

Your service animals and certified support animals are welcome at Con of Thrones while assisting you. Service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal's work, or the individual's disability prevents using these devices. If that is the case, we require you maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other controls. Poisonous, venomous, and predatory creatures, including snakes, are not allowed, and neither are animals too big to be held, such as standard-sized horses.

First Aid

If you need immediate medical assistance during the event, please ask any volunteer or staff member. We will direct you to the first aid station and/or escort you there.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to email us at Once we are on-site at the event, we encourage you to visit the Con of Thrones Customer Service Desk or contact the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center.
